The Polish Football Association was deeply saddened and sorry to learn that Franciszek Smuda, former national team head coach, has passed away at the age of 76.

There were no surprises in the match for the 2024 UEFA Super Cup. In the match played at the PGE Narodowy stadium in Warsaw, the winner of the latest edition of the Champions League, Real Madrid, proved superior, defeating the Europa League winner, Atalanta BC, 2-0. Registration of candidates for the FIFA Football Agent Exam
The Polish Football Association announces that from 19 August to 4 October 2024, the FIFA platform will be used to register candidates for the next FIFA Football Agent Exam, which will take place on 20 November 2024 in Warsaw.
POLAND AS A CANDIDATE TO HOST THE UEFA WOMEN'S EURO 2029
The Polish Football Association decided to put forward its candidacy to host the Women's EURO, scheduled for 2029. "We want to create a special celebration of women's football here in Poland. It is a vital part of the Association's overall strategy. One of its four priorities," says Cezary Kulesza, President of the Polish Football Association. As a reminder, Poland will host the 2025 UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship, as well as the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup a year later. "Our goal is also to host the Euros for the first national teams. This would be another big step in the development of women's football in Poland," adds Cezary Kulesza.
Poland has met their rivals in the play-offs for a place in the Euro finals
Nyon, Switzerland, hosted the draw for the qualifying play-offs for the Women's Euro 2025 final tournament, which will be held in Switzerland in 2025. In the first round, Poland will face Romania. If they advance, in the second round the red-and-white team will play against the better of the Slovenia – Austria pair.
