A project of the Ministry of Education and Science in cooperation with the Polish Football Association
The Ministry of Education and Science will provide PLN 10 million for sports trips for pupils practising football in clubs affiliated to the Polish Football Association. This is the next edition of the pilot project "Explore Poland" conducted by the Ministry of Education and Science. This time – through sports! Today we are launching the project!
The Poland-Netherlands match will be played at the PGE National Stadium
The Management Board of the Polish Football Association has decided on the location for the September home game which will be played by the Polish national team within the UEFA Nations League. On 22 September, the white and reds will face the Netherlands at the PGE National Stadium. The match in Warsaw will begin at 8:45 PM. After that, on 25 September, the Poles will play their last Nations League group stage match against Wales at the Cardiff City Stadium.
Sale of tickets for the matches of the Ukraine national football team in Łódź
Polish Football Association informs that the sale of tickets for the matches of the Ukraine national football team in the Nations League has started. The Ukrainians will play against Armenia at the Władysław Król Municipal Stadium on June 11 at 3:00 p.m., and three days later they will compete against Ireland again at the same venue. Tickets are sold at bilety.laczynaspilka.pl and are available in two price categories: PLN 40 and PLN 60.
Changes in Polish representatives in UEFA bodies
The UEFA Executive Committee at its latest meeting adopted changes to the composition of the various UEFA disciplinary bodies, committees and expert panels for the current term, ending in 2023. Among them, there were seven new representatives of the Polish Football Association.
Match schedules for the 2022/2023 season
The Management Board of the Polish Football Association has approved the match schedules for the 2022/2023 season. The first round of the PKO BP Ekstraklasa, Fortuna 1st League and 2nd League will be played on 16/17 July, while the third league will start their matches on 6/7 August 2022.
"Gramy dla Polski" in Cologne
On Saturday, 21 May, a unique foreign scouting meeting of the Polish Football Association "Gramy dla Polski" (We play for Poland) was traditionally held in Cologne, Germany, for players of Polish origin who were born outside our country. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Polish Consulate, the Polish Football Association and coaches of national youth teams.
