Wonderful evening in Łódź - Poland's comeback ends with a draw against Germany
In the last group match of the qualifying round of the U-21 European Championships, the Poles brought a mood swing to the almost 12,000-strong crowd at the Widzew Łódź Stadium. The White and Reds were losing 1:3 to Germany by halftime (after Dominik Marczuk's goal), but in the second half Jakub Kałuzinski and Mariusz Fornalczyk secured a draw.
The Poles have qualified for the Under-21 European Championships!
Poland's under-21 national team drew 3:3 against Germany. This result, as well as favourable results in other matches, placed coach Adam Majewski's players among the top three teams that finished second in their groups and thus won direct qualification for the European Championships.
U-21: Lack of effectiveness... Poland loses to Bulgaria
Poland's national under-21 football team failed to end the March national team training camp with a victory. After an away win over Israel in their home match at the Stadion Śląski, the Poles caused an unpleasant surprise for their fans by losing 0:1 to lower rated Bulgaria. The only goal was scored after nearly an hour of play by Martin Petkov. "It was the only shot of our rivals in the second half," our national team players said sadly after the match.
Poland made up for losses and won in Jena against Israel
The Poland U-21 national team won 2-1 against Israel in the German city of Jena in their sixth match in the qualifying rounds for the European Championship. Both goals for our team were scored by substitutes – Maksymilian Pingot and Kajetan Szmyt.

Poland's under-21 national team lost 1:3 to Germany in Essen in a European Championship qualifying match. It was the first defeat for the Polish national team, who had won the four previous games.
