Unlucky start for the Hosts
Thats not how the hosts of UEFA EURO U21 Poland 2017 imagined beginning of the tournament. In their first appearance, White-Reds lost to Slovakia 1:2 (1:1). The opening goal was scored by Patryk Lipski. Later, however, spectators could only watch Slovaks goals. Martin Skriniar equalized, and the decisive goal for Slovakia was scored by Pavol Safranko off the bench.

Today is the day! Finally the long awaited time has come, top twelve youth national teams starts their way to win the Championship of Old Continent. On Friday there will be a first game of Tournament Hosts – Marcin Dorna’s team will face Slovakian side.

U-21: Poland won with Israel
Polish National U-21 Team won 3:1 with Israel that took place in Arena Lublin. Goals for polish team were scored by Krzysztof Piątek and Mariusz Stępiński (two).
Poland draw with Sweden
Polish National U21 Team drew 0:0 with Sweden in friendly match that took place in Kielce. Swedish National Team is the current European Champion.
