An emphatic victory to start the qualifiers

In the opening match of the European Championship qualifying campaign, Poland defeated North Macedonia 3–0. They led at half-time thanks to an own goal. In the second half, substitutes Marcel Reguła and Oskar Pietuszewski scored, and the team under Jerzy Brzęczek, making his debut as head coach of the Poland national under-21 football team, secured an emphatic victory.
