Mobile Young Eagles Academy coaches hone their skills at the PZPN Coaching School
The PZPN Coaching School, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary, has recently organised a training conference for coaches of the Mobile Young Eagles Academy. "We want to collect information and tailor the training resources to the needs of recipients, i.e. coaches across Poland", said Paweł Grycmann, Director of the PZPN Coaching School.
‘Girls. Team not only on the pitch’ – the new PZPN campaign is launched!
The Polish Football Association (PZPN) continues to develop women's football and has just launched a promotional campaign aimed at encouraging girls to play football. Its goal is to prove that football is not just a sport but, above all, an arena from which extraordinary life experiences and useful skills can be gained, regardless of gender.
PZPN General Reporting Assembly Meeting
On Friday, 20 October 2023, the PZPN General Reporting Assembly Meeting was held at the Sofitel Victoria Hotel in Warsaw. The meeting approved the financial statements of the Association for 2022 and the report on the activities of the Management Board and the Audit Committee of PZPN for the last 12 months. The PZPN General Reporting Assembly Meeting also dismissed Jakub Tabisz from the position of Management Board Member (withdrawal of recommendation) and appointed Łukasz Jabloński in his place, at the request of PKO BP Ekstraklasa clubs.
The mObywatel app for sports. Digital documents for coaches and players
Minister of Digital Affairs Janusz Cieszyński and Secretary General of the Polish Football Association Łukasz Wachowski have announced that PZPN's coaches and players will soon find digital versions of coaching and player IDs in the mObywatel app. "I am delighted that the Polish Football Association, which brings together hundreds of thousands of sports fans, is the first sports organisation to join mObywatel. I hope that other institutions and organisations in the world of sport will follow suit," emphasises Minister Cieszyński.
The public broadcaster signed an agreement with the Polish Football Association
Polish Television with exclusive rights to football games. In the coming years, TVP viewers will get to watch Fortuna 1. Liga, 2. Liga, Fortuna Polish Cup and Polish SuperCup in men's football, Orlen Ekstraliga and Orlen Polish Cup finals in women's football, as well as matches of the Polish women's national team, men's youth national teams and futsal national teams. The public broadcaster has acquired exclusive television rights until 2027.
A key investment of the Polish Football Association
The Polish Football Association will build the National Centre for Football Training, Research and Coaching in Otwock with the help of funds from the state budget. The Ministry of Sport and Tourism has granted the federation's application for funding for the investment under the programme of investments of particular importance for sport. Construction is scheduled for 2024-2027, and the investment is worth more than PLN 400 mln.
