Jan Urban Appointed Poland National Team Head Coach
The Polish Football Association has announced that Jan Urban has been appointed as the new head coach of the Poland national team. The 63-year-old signed a contract with the association and officially takes charge of the national side. “We believe that this choice will allow the national team to develop its full potential. Our goal is to qualify for the World Cup finals in 2026. I wish the head coach good luck and assure him that he can expect full support from me, the Management Board and all PZPN employees” said Cezary Kulesza, President of the Polish Football Association. The first press conference with the new head coach will take place on Thursday, 17 July at 12:00 at the home of the Poland national team – PGE Narodowy in Warsaw.
PZPN has signed a letter of intent to build a national team training centre
On this day, the Polish Football Association (PZPN) signed a letter of intent regarding the construction of a multifunctional training centre, potentially to be located in Karczew. The document was signed by President of PZPN Cezary Kulesza and the General Secretary of PZPN Łukasz Wachowski, and on behalf of the local authorities – by the Mayor of Karczew, Michał Rudzki, and the Chairman of the Karczew City Council, Piotr Kwiatkowski.

During the General Reporting and Elections Meeting of the Polish Football Association (PZPN), held on Monday, 30 June 2025 in Warsaw, Cezary Kulesza was re-elected for another term as President of the Polish Football Association. He received 98 votes from the delegates.
Grzegorz Lato and Michał Listkiewicz named Honorary Presidents of the Polish Football Association
During the General Reporting and Elections Meeting of the Polish Football Association, held on 30 June in Warsaw, the titles of Honorary President of the Polish Football Association were conferred upon Grzegorz Lato and Michał Listkiewicz.
Cezary Kulesza named the most influential figure in Polish football
On Wednesday, the first-ever ranking of the Most Influential People in Polish Football, compiled by the research company Pentagon Research, was announced. The President of the Polish Football Association, Cezary Kulesza, was ranked first. Second place went to the owner and President of Legia Warsaw, Dariusz Mioduski, while third place was taken by the Secretary General of the PZPN, Łukasz Wachowski.
