Poland has met their rivals in the play-offs for a place in the Euro finals

Nyon, Switzerland, hosted the draw for the qualifying play-offs for the Women's Euro 2025 final tournament, which will be held in Switzerland in 2025. In the first round, Poland will face Romania. If they advance, in the second round the red-and-white team will play against the better of the Slovenia – Austria pair.

Poland lost to Iceland in Sosnowiec

The Polish women's national team lost to Iceland in Sosnowiec in their last match of the qualifiers for the final tournament of the European Championship. Thus, the red-and-white team ends the competition in Group 4 of League A in last place, with six defeats. However, they still have a chance to advance.  They will compete for it in the play-offs.

Child Protection Policy in sport a priority for the Polish Football Association

"The Child Protection Policy is one of the priorities of the Polish Football Association. We are implementing a child protection strategy in all clubs, even the smallest ones, and we can see that this serves as a model for other sports as well. It is up to us adults to ensure that children can really learn and develop, not only in football", said Adam Kaźmierczak, Vice President of PZPN for Amateur Football, who opened the Conference on Children's Protection in Sport. The event took place at the National Stadium during the Tymbark Cup Finals.
