Staropolanka extends cooperation with Polish Football Association
The Polish Football Association (PZPN) announces that the sponsorship agreement signed in 2023 with Staropolanka water from Uzdrowiska Kłodzkie, part of the Polska Grupa Uzdrowisk, has been extended for another two years. The cooperation between the PZPN and Staropolanka is aimed at promoting sport and a healthy lifestyle – especially among children and young people. It also constitutes part of the implementation of a strategy aimed at increasing brand recognition and developing a presence on the Polish market.
Staropolanka is the Official Water of the Polish National Team. The brand supports not only the senior men's and women's national teams, but also the men's national under-21 team. The partnership also includes involvement in a number of other initiatives organised by the Polish Football Association, including activities in the area of popularisation of sport among children and young people.
Male and female football players drink water from Uzdrowisko Kłodzkie during training camps and matches, and the branding of the Polish national team is present on the Staropolanka label. The cooperation also includes many promotional activities, and the brand's logo is displayed, among others, on POS materials, during match broadcasts, but also on billboards or as part of joint online communication. Staropolanka water accompanies press conferences with members of the national team.
– Football is the most popular sport in Poland, and national team matches attract huge interest among Poles of all ages. Matches of the national team are always an opportunity for meetings and social integration that unite fans regardless of their club sympathies. We are delighted to be able to participate in this phenomenon as a partner of the Polish Football Association. Last year was a period of intensive, comprehensive campaigning, during which we carried out many joint activities. Polish male and female football players drank Staropolanka water, among others, during the men's European Football Championship in Germany or qualifying matches for next year's Women's European Football Championship. This is a great honour for us, says Tomasz Pełyński, President of the Management Board of Uzdrowiska Kłodzkie SA-Grupa PGU.
– We consider cooperation with the Polish Football Association to be an extremely important effort in the context of promoting sport and a healthy lifestyle. Therefore, we not only want to continue our partnership, but also to increase its scope. Such a wide-ranging interest in the national team's matches allows us to reach both existing and potential customers in all age groups. We plan to expand our joint projects, including additional activation in the form of competitions for fans, including children and young people. Of course, we also remain the exclusive supplier of water for the national team, adds Krzysztof Guglas, Vice President of the Management Board of Uzdrowiska Kłodzkie SA-Grupa PGU.
– The relationship between the Polish Football Association and the world of business is one of the pillars of our strategy for the development and popularisation of football in Poland. We are particularly pleased to announce that we are maintaining and extending our existing partnerships. This is evidence of long-term, fruitful cooperation which both parties are satisfied with. Water is a basic and extremely important product for athletes. Adequate hydration has a real impact on the results they achieve. That is why cooperation with the Staropolanka brand is of exceptional importance to us. We are extremely pleased with the possibility of continuing our cooperation and we are looking forward to further joint ventures, said Łukasz Wachowski, Secretary General of the Polish Football Association.
