Inauguration of the fourth Polish edition of the UEFA Certificate in Football Management
On 10-11 January 2024, the first seminar of the UEFA Certificate in Football Management educational programme took place in Warsaw in cooperation with UEFA and the University of Lausanne. UEFA CFM is a nine-month programme that enables participants to develop professionally, establish contacts and gain new competencies.
During the fourth Polish edition of the UEFA CFM programme, 32 representatives of sports organisations, including representatives of the Polish Football Association, Regional Football Associations, Ekstraklasa, I Liga, clubs, as well as foreign associations: Gibraltar, Georgia, Armenia, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina inaugurated their journey towards advanced knowledge of football management. All this in an atmosphere of intensive discussions and exchange of experiences between participants, creating a solid foundation for the further development of their careers in the sport.
Experts at the first session included Sean Hamil from Birkbeck, University of London, Mikkel Draebye from the Bocconi School of Management, Antonio Davila from HEC Lausanne and Alfred Ludwig, former Secretary General of the Austrian Football Association. Among other things, the course participants attended classes on the organisation of world football, strategic and operational management and Q&A sessions.
