UEFA European Championship Arenas Poland national team will play on these stadiums
The Poland national team at UEFA EURO 2020 was scheduled to perform at stadiums in Dublin and Bilbao, but due to the coronavirus pandemic the locations have changed. Dublin was replaced by St. Petersburg, and Bilbao's place was taken by Sevilla. Poles will compete in these cities against Slovakia, Spain and Sweden in the group stage. Paulo Sousa announces Poland UEFA EURO 2020 squad
During a Monday press conference, head coach Paulo Sousa announced a list of players called-up for training camp in Opalenica, which is a direct preparation for the European Championship. The coach also gave a list of substitute players who can join the team in case of injury in the squad.
Poland national team placed 21st in the FIFA ranking
In the latest ranking published by the International Federation of Association Football, Poland national team is ranked 21st. Compared to the previous FIFA ranking, the White and Reds saw a drop of two positions. Belgium remained the leader, followed by France in second and Brazil in third place. FIFA will present its next ranking on 27 May.
Three points stay in London. England beat Poland
The Poland national team came very close to snatching a valuable point at Wembley. After the equalizer scored by Jakub Moder, the White and Reds defended against English attacks, but unfortunately it was the "Sons of Albion" who came out victorious. Harry Maguire scored a winning goal in the final minutes of the game. The English won 2:1 and they are the leader of our group with nine points.
