Jan Urban: We must have respect for the opponent, but also confidence

On Thursday in Zurich, the play-off ties were drawn for the World Cup qualifiers, which are set to be contested in the USA, Canada, and Mexico in 2026. The Polish national team will face Albania on home soil in the semi-final, whilst the White and Reds' potential rival in the final will be the winner of the Ukraine v Sweden tie.

The Polish national team ended the World Cup qualifiers with a 3-2 win over Malta. The hosts surprised the White-and-Reds, equalising twice, but Piotr Zieliński scored the winning goal in the final minutes. Earlier, Robert Lewandowski and Paweł Wszołek had scored as well. The White-and-Reds finished second in their group and will enter the play-offs in March next year.

Call-ups for Polish national team's November training camp
Poland's national team coach Jan Urban has announced the list of players called up for the November training camp. During its course, the White-and-Reds will play two qualifying matches for the World Cup finals — against the Netherlands (14 November, 8:45 p.m., PGE Narodowy) and Malta (17 November, 8:45 p.m., Ta' Qali Stadium).
