U19: Poland–Germany match ends in a draw
The Polish national U19 team drew 1-1 against Germany in a friendly match. Poland was in the lead after a goal scored by Filip Szymczak. In the 2nd half, Germany's Mehmed Aydin levelled the match. The away team emerged victorious in an additional penalty shoot-out. For the team led by Jacek Magiera, the match marks the beginning of preparations for the upcoming UEFA European Under-19 Championship qualifying round.

The U-19 team will participate in a qualifying tournament for the European Championships 2015 in Poland between 9th and 14th of October 2014. The white-and-reds will play face the Netherlands, Moldova and Andorra in the group stage. The draw has been commented especially for us by the U-19 team coach, Rafal Janas.
