Adam Nawałka chosen to be the new head coach!
Polish Football Association informs that Adam Nawałka is the new head coach of the Poland national team. He will take over the team starting from 1st of November 2013. After signing an agreement with Adam Nawałka, President of PFA Zbigniew Boniek said: "We are convinced that we have made the right choice. The goal for the new head coach and the national team is obvious – qualication for Euro 2016 in France."
Slovakia and Ireland – next two friendlies
Polish Football Association would like to inform that agreements on organizing friendly matches: Poland – Slovakia and Poland – Ireland have been signed. First game will be held on 15th of November 2013, 8:45 p.m, at the Municipal Stadium in Wroclaw. Match against Ireland will take place at INEA Stadium Poznań, on 19th of November, 8:45 p.m.
PFA terminated cooperation with Waldemar Fornalik
Polish Football Association would like to inform that from 16th of October 2013 Waldemar Fornalik is no longer head coach of Polish national team. Zbigniew Boniek, the President of PFA, has thanked Waldemar Fornalik for a year-long cooperation.
Ukraine – Poland match will be open for fans
2014 World Cup Qualifier match Ukraine – Poland in Kharkiv will be open for fans. FIFA changed its previous decision from 27th of September 2013 which stated that the stadium will be closed for supporters during next week's game.
PFA delivered the certificate of Bartłomiej Pawłowski
Handing over the document was in accordance with FIFA regulations regarding players' status and transfers and was carried out within a 14 day's time limit for handing the document over, counting from the day, on which Malaga CF submitted the application.
Europa League final in 2015 is ours!
UEFA Executive Comittee decided that Poland will host the Europa League Final in 2015. – It is our great success – said Zbigniew Boniek, president of Polish Football Association. Boniek, along with Maciej Sawicki, general secretary of PFA, went to London where UEFA Congress is taking place.
