Grzegorz Krychowiak made his first appearance for Sevilla FC in a losing effort to Real Madrid. Polish national team's midfielder played for 90 minutes and gave his best but it wasn't enough to overpower the European champions.

Medyk Konin routed Finland's champions Åland United 7:0! An impressive victory from the Polish side secured Medyk's promotion to 1/16 round of Champions League. Second match of the qualifcation tournament in Bosnia and Hercegovina was Ewa Pajor's show as the 17-year-old striker scored four times!

Ruch will face Metalist Kharkiv, Legia vs. FC Aktobe

Ruch Chorzów will face Metalist Kharkiv in the first match of Europa League's fourth qualification round. First game will take place on the 21st of August in Poland. Legia Warszawa will travel to Kazakhstan to play with FK Aktobe. Rematches are set on the 28th of August.

Celtic – Legia match declared as forfeit

The UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body have announced that Legia have been sanctioned for fielding an ineligible player in their second leg against Celtic. The match has been declared as forfeit and Legia have lost the match 3-0. As a consequence, Celtic have qualified for the play-offs on away goals (agg: 4-4) and Legia will compete in the UEFA Europa League play-offs.

Gallery: The Bhoys on their knees! Legia routs Celtic

Legia Warszawa won with Celtic Glasgow 4:1 in the third round of Champions League qualifying stage. Wednesday's evening was Miroslav Radović's show as Legia's striker netted twice in a winning effort. Celtic will try to overcome a three-goal deficit on August 6, 20:45 in Edinburgh.
