World Heart Day is organised by UEFA’s social responsibility partner, the World Heart Federation (WHF). In 2016, UEFA is specifically encouraging the football family to support World Heart Day (WHD) by raising awareness of heart health and healthier lifestyles through National Football Associations and domestic clubs. This year PZPN is supporting World Heart Day which aims to raise awareness of cardiovascular disease (CVD) and to educate people on the benefits of an active and healthy lifestyle.

Adam Nawałka extends deal as Poland head coach until 2018 World Cup
The Polish Football Association is delighted to announce that Adam Nawałka has signed an extended contract that ties him to the Polish national team at least until the end of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers. If the Polish national team will qualify to the final tournament in Russia, the contract will be automatically extended for the duration of the championship.

Polish national team drew with Germany in second game on EURO 2016. Polish team has four points after two games and is based on second position in group C.

The EURO is a grand festival of football. A fabulous tournament which for a month will attract the attention of the entire world. I am proud that the Poland national team, which has qualified after a tough battle on the field, will also be among those competing in France. Four years ago we co-hosted Euro together with Ukraine and so we did not need to qualify. Now, the taste of this hard-earned qualification is truly exceptional.
