Poland to Face New Zealand in Chorzów

On 9 October, the Poland national team will play an international friendly against New Zealand. The match will kick off at 20:45 at the Superauto.pl Stadion Śląski in Chorzów.
For the national side, it will be the third game played at this venue in 2025. Earlier this year in the “Witches' Cauldron”, Poland defeated Moldova 2–0 in a friendly, and on 7 September they will face Finland in a FIFA World Cup qualifier.

Poland and New Zealand have met twice before. Their first encounter took place on 19 June 1999 in Bangkok during the King’s Cup, ending in a goalless draw before Poland prevailed on penalties. The second meeting came on 16 October 2002 in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski, where Poland won 2–0 thanks to goals from Krzysztof Ratajczyk and Mariusz Kukiełka.
