[ACTION: DAY 1]: Not talking about transfers. Waiting for "Krycha"
Polish National Team kicked off EURO2016 preparations on Tuesday with two training sessions. The opening training session was focused more on tactics. During the afternoon session, which was opened to the 600 viewers, players were already "running on all cylinders".
The assistant coach Bogdan Zajac, Arkadiusz Milik and Bartosz Kapustka attended the press conference which took place after the morning training session. Journalists were asking a lot of questions to the players. There were also questions from the audience about their potential transfers. Both Arek Milik and Bartek Kapustka quickly said no to speculations and said with one voice that "this is the EURO time now and not a transfer window".
Among those attending the first training session was Tomasz Jodłowiec, but Legia midfielder trained individually. After medical consultations and advice from the team doctor Jacek Jaroszewski it was decided that "Jodła" will be able to attend the afternoon training session.
As the journalists were asking about Grzegorz Krychowiak and his injury, Bogdan Zając reported also key information about this issue. The coach reassured that "prognosis are not dramatic. On the contrary - they are optimistic. "Krychowiak is recovering, and he will join the team on Thursday. And now the key message statement is - we are all waiting for "Krycha" recovery. However, if the player will not be in full form and will still have some health problems, the coaching staff will count on the players who have been called up and are on duty.
