AKADEMIA MŁODYCH ORŁÓW – A NEW IDEA OF COACHING CHILDREN
The Polish Football Association in cooperation with District Council of Mokotów of the city of Warsaw has started an innovative project of exemplary football academy for children and youth aged 6 to 11 called ‘Akademia Młodych Orłów’. The President of the Polish Football Association, Zbigniew Boniek, is encouraging young players to join the academy.
The Academy of Young Eagles gives a chance for free football training at the highest level both for boys and girls in three age categories: 6-7 y.o. (U-7), 8-9 y.o. (U-9) and 10-11 y.o. (U-11). "Remember – addressed the youngest AMO candidates the President of Polish Football Association – the sooner you start training with good coaches, the sooner you achieve good football ability. The structures and complicated programmes are not the most important things, it's all about playing, playing and once again – playing!" assures Zbigniew Boniek.
The training will take place twice a week in groups of 16, using the already existing infrastructure of ‘Orlik’ pitch in Warsaw at Kazimierzowska 60 (Mokotów District). The will be conducted on the basis of the original children and youth training programme developed by the Training Department and Technical Committee of PZPN.
