Regional finals of Marek Wielgus Tournament was started
On 7 May, in Warsaw was began regional finals of seventeenth edition Marek Wielgus Tournament. The first final was played Mazovia region.
Luke Wielgus, son of Marek Wielgus - originators of the tournament, was present during finals of Mazovia.
Regional finals winners compete in national final, which will be held in September (21-23.09.2012). The main prize is a trip to Italy, to AC Milan.
Teams, that wins second place in each of regional finals will receive tickets for the match Poland – Andorra, which will be held on 2 June 2012 in Warsaw.
Marek Wielgus Tournament is one of the biggest football tournament for children in our country, to the rank of Polish Championships in boys and girls U-11 category. The tournament is for teams of school and the school sports clubs. Polish Football Association is organizer of this tournament.
