Women’s Player Guide: rights and responsibilities
“Women’s Player Guide: rights and responsibilities” is a practical knowledge compendium for female footballers playing in Poland. The document clearly and accessibly explains the key issues related to a player’s status, contracts, transfers, cooperation with agents, disciplinary responsibility, and dispute resolution.
The publication also addresses the most frequently asked questions and outlines possible career development pathways in football after the end of an on-field playing career. The guide has been prepared with female players at different stages of their careers in mind. Each Orlen Ekstraliga Women player received a printed copy of the Guide during the in-person training sessions held between November 2025 and January 2026. The document was developed with the support of the UEFA HatTrick VI programme and the Women’s League Development Fund project.
