Cezary Kulesza: I believe in our team. Historic Euro is coming
"We are in a very difficult group, in which we will face Germany, Denmark and Sweden – the absolute top teams in Europe." However, there are no easy rivals at the European championships, which is why each such competition is a development opportunity for us," said Cezary Kulesza, president of the Polish Football Association, assessing the group draw for the 2025 Women's European Championship.
"This is a historic moment, as our national team qualified for the women's Euro for the first time. Head coach Nina Patalon has built a cohesive team which has shown in the play-offs against Romania and Austria that it can compete at the highest level. We are going to the tournament in Switzerland to show our best side, but also to gain invaluable experience. Only by playing against the best can we improve our skills and prepare for future challenges," said the president of the Polish Football Association.
