Head coach Michał Probierz met with the PZPN Senior Club
On Tuesday, 27 February, the members of the PZPN Senior Club held another meeting. This time, at the club's invitation, a special guest appeared - the head coach of the Polish national team, Michał Probierz. During the meeting, there was also a nice ceremony. Members of the Senior Club of the PZPN celebrated Danuta Budek's 75th birthday and Wiesław Bartosik's 85th birthday.
Representatives of the PZPN Senior Club also met with the head coach of the Polish national team, Michał Probierz. - It is a great pleasure for me to see the people with whom I met during my football and coaching career. Coach Edward Lorens introduced me to top league football at Ruch Chorzów, coach Henryk Apostel guided me at Górnik Zabrze. I met Mr Piotr Maranda at the PZPN Coaching School, he also won a tennis match against me. It gives me great joy that after many years we can meet and talk, said Michał Probierz.
The head coach of the national team also answered a number of questions about the current situation of the Polish national team. He presented the plans of the training staff before the Playoffs for promotion to the final tournament of the European Championships, as well as a brief analysis of the main tactical assumptions of the national team, also listening to the observations of members of the PZPN Senior Club. Such meetings are very valuable for us. We are very happy that, despite his many responsibilities, the head coach managed to find time to meet with players of the older generation of Polish football. We hope that such events will happen more often, admitted PZPN Senior Club President Eugeniusz Kolator.
The next meeting of the PZPN Senior Club will be held on 21 March, on the day of the play-offs between Poland and Estonia. It will be attended by the presidents of the PZPN Senior Club. Its participants will also sit in the stands of the PGE Narodowy to support the Polish team in their fight for promotion.
