This will be the third final in the history of the UEFA Conference League. The first was held at the Air Albania Stadium in Tirana, where AS Roma emerged victorious by beating Feyenoord Rotterdam. In 2022/23, Łukasz Fabianski's team, West Ham United, won against Italian Fiorentina at the Fortuna Arena in Prague.

The working visit was attended by a delegation from UEFA, representatives of the Polish Football Association and the Tarczyński Arena stadium operator. The meetings were also attended by invited guests representing the City of Wrocław, the Police and Wrocław Airport.

Working meetings were held at the Wrocław Stadium and the programme also included visits to other locations such as Wrocław Airport, the Centennial Hall, Pola Marsowe and Wrocław Market Square. The meetings focused on the presentation of the event concept, covering both the internal organisation at the stadium (technical, infrastructural, sporting, organisational aspects, as well as security of the mass event) and the external organisation (accommodation and transport of teams and officials, fan routes, mobility concept).

The final in Wrocław will be the culmination of the 2024/25 season, played according to UEFA's new format, which includes a greater number of teams and matches in the group stage and the use of the Swiss system for team competition.

This meeting was the first in a series of planned working meetings before the final. The next one is scheduled for September 2024. The Department of Event Organisation, Safety, and Infrastructure of the Polish Football Association is responsible for organising the working meeting and implementing the project in cooperation with UEFA.
