The Polish FA confirms support for Alexander Ceferin in the upcoming UEFA presidential election
Our football family, centered in the Union of European Football Associations, will have to make another important decision. It is well known that life – not just in sport – is about choices and decisions, sometimes very difficult ones. We are just ahead of UEFA presidential elections.
The Polish FA that I have had the honor to manage for four years recognizes the great role of UEFA in the development, management and financing of the international football. Respecting the achievements and credentials of all candidates standing for the position of president of UEFA and appreciating their knowledge, passion and desire to build something huge and remarkable we would like to also stress in the same time important challenges and aspiring plans that the European football is facing. All of us, gathered in the football family, need new and fresh ideas, as well as reviving initiatives.
Taking into consideration all the above, as a President of the Polish Football Association, in the upcoming election for the new UEFA President I will give my vote to Mr. Aleksander Ceferin – the President of Football Association of Slovenia.
